Malaysia HR Forum Academy Offers Free Training Venue for National Training Week (NTW) Organised by HRD Corp in Line with the Ministry of Human Resources 3K Strategic Mission
Petaling Jaya, Selangor – 28 May 2024 – Malaysia HR Forum announces the opening of its new training academy. This is a big step for Malaysia HR Forum, which started as an online group for HR community in Malaysia which has grown to 44,600 members. Malaysia HR Forum offers various services including training, consulting and advisory, e-Learning, HR publications and many more. As a training provider, finding suitable venue for training purposes is challenging.
The new academy solves this problem. It has modern training rooms in a good location in Petaling Jaya. This makes it a central place for workshops, seminars, and other HR events. “Malaysia HR Forum Academy shows our commitment to give HR professionals high-quality training,” said Arulkumar Singaraveloo, who helped start Malaysia HR Forum. “We’re also looking for partners to collaborate and contribute with thoughtful touches. This will make the learning experience even better.”
Datuk Shahul Hameed Dawood, CEO of HRD Corp, spoke at the opening ceremony. He emphasised the importance of Kebajikan Pekerja (worker well-being), Kemahiran Pekerja (worker skilling), and Keberhasilan Pekerja (worker productivity). He highlighted how Malaysia HR Forum's focus aligns perfectly the Ministry of Human Resources 3K strategic mission. The future of work needs people who can adjust and are willing to learn new skills,” he said. “HRD Corp helps people get training through programmes like the National Training Week (NTW) programme. We encourage training providers like Malaysia HR Forum to take advantage of this programme and offer high-quality training at a good price.”
NTW programme gives training providers a chance to reach a large group of people and sell their services without having to pay. Datuk Shahul Hameed Dawood also said that training companies need to offer shorter training programmes and smaller chunks of learning to meet the changing needs of today’s world.
The opening of Malaysia HR Forum Academy is a boon for workforce development in Malaysia. By offering a dedicated space for training and working with partners, Malaysia HR Forum is helping businesses and individuals succeed in the changing world of work.
